AI transformation for restaurant and hospitality operators in North Jersey and New York City
We don't start with AI. We start with your business.
For operators ready to modernize. We learn how your business runs, find the work that costs you revenue, margin or time, and implement practical AI and automation to fix it. Nothing goes live without your approval, and we can manage it for you after that.

Example calls
Pick a call. See what the Receptionist does.
One application of our work is the AI Receptionist. These are written examples that show the workflow. They aren't recordings of real calls. Your Receptionist works from your own menu, hours and booking rules.
Allergy question
Example call (scripted)- Caller:
Does the pad thai have peanuts? My son is allergic.
- Receptionist:
I can't confirm allergen safety, so I'm getting a staff member for you. Can I take your number in case we get cut off?
- Caller:
Sure, 917-555-0102.
Sent to staff.
The call goes to your staff. If no one picks up, your manager gets a callback request with the question and the number.
- Handled by the Receptionist
- Goes to a person
The rush
The phone rings hardest when your host is busiest.
In one AI phone company's study of more than a million calls, half were bookings or orders, and more than a third were questions about hours, directions and the menu.1 They come in at 6:40 on a Friday, while the person at the stand is seating a four-top. Restaurants using one AI phone platform reported missing about 1 in 3 calls at peak.1 Your own call log is the number that matters, and the free audit finds it.
1. Maple, The State of Restaurant Phone Communication, December 2025. 1.2 million calls on Maple's platform; the missed-call rate is merchant-reported, and Maple sells AI phone answering. Groups: reservations 38% and takeout or delivery orders 12%; hours, location and directions 22% and menu 15%; events and large parties 7%, changes to bookings 4%, other 2%.

Renovate AI Transformation
How we work
One workflow at a time, measured against where you started.
Assess
We review how your business runs, what your systems already do and where revenue, margin or time slips. You get a ranked list of opportunities and a written proposal for one workflow.
Implement
We build that workflow with established AI and automation tools, test it with your team and go live only when you sign off. Price agreed in writing first.
Operate
We monitor it, improve it and report results against where you started. Reported every month.
Expand
We add the next workflow only when the first one shows measured value.
Safety and limits
What it won't do
The rules every Receptionist runs on. Your staff stays in charge.
It never tells a caller a dish is safe for an allergy. Those calls go to your staff.
It says it's an AI at the start of every call, and that the call may be recorded.
It doesn't take card payments.
It isn't an emergency line.
It transfers calls to your staff on the rules you set, and you can switch it off at any time.
Who we are
We knew the restaurant business before we built for its future.
Renovate AI was founded by Jaden Hong. Since founding Renovate Group, Inc. in 2018, Jaden has worked with restaurant owners across New Jersey and New York on equipment sales, refrigeration service coordination, supplier relationships and business operations.
That work was never only about equipment. It meant helping owners and managers make cost-conscious decisions, solve operational problems and keep service moving.
That experience shaped our approach to AI. Many solutions start with the technology and look for a problem. We start with the restaurant, its people and the challenges they face every day.
Renovate AI bridges advanced technology and real hospitality operations, with practical AI and automation tailored to each business's workflows, systems, priorities and budget.
Built on restaurant experience. Designed for what's next.
What we work on
Built for more revenue, better margins and less administrative work.
The outcomes every engagement is scoped and measured against. Workflow projects start with a paid AI Opportunity Assessment, and your price is set in a written proposal.
Founding restaurants
Be one of the first five restaurants on the Receptionist.
Our first five restaurants get a founding rate of $399 a month, with setup waived and 800 minutes included. They also get priority setup and a say in what we build next. In return, we ask to publish your results with dates, once you've approved the wording.
Ranges are indicative, not fixed rates. Your price, scope and terms are set in a written proposal after your call audit or assessment.
- Five places. When they're filled, founding terms close.
- The same pilot and safety rules as every install
- Your name appears only if you agree
Questions owners ask first
Will the AI tell a guest a dish is safe for their allergy?
No. It never confirms allergen safety. Every allergy question goes to your staff, and if no one picks up, your manager gets a callback request.
Do callers know they're talking to an AI?
Yes. It says it's an AI assistant at the start of every call, and that the call may be recorded.
What does it cost?
Every engagement is scoped and quoted after we've looked at your business. Workflow projects start with a paid AI Opportunity Assessment, quoted up front. Implementation and monthly management are then priced in a written proposal, with usage and third-party software listed separately. Indicative ranges: the AI Receptionist is $499–$899 a month per location, and custom AI agents and software are $3,000–$12,000+ per project. The first conversation and the call audit are free.
Does it work with my POS?
It works alongside Toast, Square and Clover. It doesn't need access to your POS to answer calls. Deeper connections depend on each platform, and we only promise the ones we've tested.
What if it doesn't work for us?
You hear it on a separate number before it touches your main line, and you decide whether to go live. Your written proposal sets the terms, including when billing starts.
Start here
Start with the problem, not the technology.
Tell us where revenue, margin or time slips in your business. The first conversation is free. If there's a fit, the next step is a paid AI Opportunity Assessment, quoted up front. If the phone is the problem, start with a free call audit.
